Oh, and one more thing.

Zazi told me to post a picture of our cupcake costumes, but the closest i have is what we for this dance last year. But before i do, i should explain.

This dance is pretty much our official comps dance. The reason we are going to Australia is to take this dance to comps. The song is called 'Church,' and it's by some rapper. Don't ask me which one because i don't know. Look it up on youtube maybe? And in the dance, there are two parts. There are the people who do ballet, and the people who do hip hop. (i'm obviously the former.) And, well, that's basically it. It's kind of like a battle? We each have partners to start with, one ballet one hip hop. Then we split so we're with our own 'people,' i guess. Then at the end the ballerinas have to start doing hip hop, which is very entertaining, as we all fail at it.

The point is, that this year our improved costumes make us look like cupcakes. Here is pictures of last year's version:

This year there are only twelve dancers, six of each. And us ballet dancers look like freaking cool cupcakes. Our skirts have been mega puffed up with extra layers of black tulle beneath, our leotards have pink stuff on them and are high neck ones, and we are wearing pink (not silver) tiaras, black tights and (hopefully black by January) pointe shoes. It was wicked on Sunday and it's going to still be wicked in January. (Rehearsing this dance is an absolute bitch, though. It's only fun when you get to do it on stage.) (Never though i'd say that.)

We got a standing ovation for this dance at regionals, ahahaha.
